Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT System Management Officer to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our organization's IT systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other departments to support their IT needs and ensure that all systems are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization's IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and upgrading of IT systems and infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of IT services.
Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's data and systems from threats.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner, providing support to users across the organization.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and services.
Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IT technology and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as an IT System Management Officer, IT Manager, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security practices.
Experience with server management, network administration, and software deployment.
Proficiency in IT management tools and software, including virtualization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical staff.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
